Russian Yuva Shaktis Participate in the World Youth Congress in Turkey

From July 31 till August 13, in Istambul, Turkey, there was held the 5th World Youth Congress. 10 Yuva Shaktis from different countries (Russia, USA, Australia, Austria and the UK) were invited to take part in it.

There were about 1800 people from 162 at the Congress. The participation in it was a great opportunity for spreading Sahaja Yoga. The people were open to new information and almost everybody wanted to experience meditation!

Our project was called “Meditate to Regenerate”. We prepared banners, brochures, visit cards, CDs with music for meditation. We managed to agree with the organizers of the event to hold 4 workshops: “Health and Meditation”, “Education and Meditation” and 2 workshops “Music and Meditation”.

During the first week, we participated in an exhibition. Many people got their self-realization at the stalls. There were so many seekers that groups of people got their self-realization and some people were waiting in a queue.

We conducted morning meditations for all who wished and different cleaning techniques were shown at them.

Invitation to the International Yuva Shakti Seminar 2010

Jai Shri Mataji!

With much pleasure, we are inviting Yuva Shaktis of the whole world to the Seminar which will take place on August 3-5, 2010 (before the International Sahaja Yoga Festival) in the international Sahaja camp on the bank of the river Volga. We are inviting all the other Yogis (who because of some reasons do not consider themselves Yuva Shaktis) as well!

Peculiarities of the Seminar:

The program of the Seminar is organized in such a way for all of us to become deeper with the help of cleaning techniques and meditations and to share collective joy of worshipping our Divine Mother. And also to have a very good rest and to spend merry time enjoying the company of each other.

Our collective seminars will be organized in the following way:

Participation of Moscow Yuva Shaktis in the Forum “My Russia”

The first two days of the Forum happened to be not very productive. We, Sahaja Yogis, were standing at a banner in the hallway but almost all the young participants of the Forum were in the hall (where there always were tutorials and discussions).

On the first day only about 5 people came up to us but none of them got Self-Realization.

On the second day we made a speech as an official opening of our Section of the Forum which was devoted to culture. Then it turned out that almost all the participants spoke about the preservation of nature and most of them were from the University where the Forum was organized. Though a chance to give Self-Realization was not given to us, our speech was the only one about the content of which the young people made questions afterwards.

The third day kept a surprise for us. We arranged our banner and people started coming up to us, many of whom were professors and, if we are not mistaken, there also was the President of the University among them. About 20-25 people got their Realization and many of them were deep seekers.

Self-realization Programs for Children during the New Year Yuva Shakti Seminar in Russia

During the New Year Yuva Shakti Festival, Shri Mataji gave us a good evidence that the desire to spread Sahaja Yoga comes true immediately. In the rest-house where the Festival was taking place, there lived a group of little sportsmen – 1st year graders – and it occurred to Sahaja Yogis to give them Self-realization. On meeting the kids at dinner time, the Yogis suggested their coach to listen to a small concert and he agreed. A music band consisting of Yuvas from different parts of Russia was formed at once and in 20 minutes the musicians were already sitting on a mat in front of the children.

Keeping attention of 30 children who have a habit to cry as loudly as possible just of joy – it is not an easy task but our sisters-presenters coped with it in a beautiful way! The sportsmen applauded cheerfully after the bhajans, listened to the fairy-tale about the fight of the good and evil within a man and imagined they were yogis listening to the good within themselves. Impressions of the Yuva Shakti New Year Seminar 2009-10 Held in Russia

“I came to the Seminar only on Jan. 2 but even during a couple of days of the Seminar I was able to penetrate into the atmosphere of it. This time the program was richer than last years: we held Pubic programs (right in the camp where the Seminar was taking place and in Samara City), participated in the YS seminar, enjoyed a marvelous New Year’s Eve and collectively studied dances and a bhajan.

And cleanings and meditations due to which one reaches a good state were, of course, the basis of the Seminar.

Sahaja Yogis who had been to the Puja in Rome joined the Seminar in the middle of it. So, all of us had a chance to listen to the impressions of Christmas Puja offered in Italy.

After the arrival of Shri Mataji in Russia many things have changed in the minds of Sahaja Yogis. Our Holy Mother is bringing us closer to something that we should be ready for in the future and She is doing it in such a soft and tender manner that it seems that nothing really happens but suddenly you understand that you are not the one you were – you have grown up.

In comparison with the last year, the number of participants of the Seminar doubled. It was so pleasant to see new faces!

The Day of India in Novosibirsk, Russia

Jai Shri Mataji, dear brothers and sisters!

With much joy we would like to share the recollections of an important event with you! On October 11, 2009, at one of the central venues, in the very heart of Siberian intelligentsia and science – in the House of scientists of the Siberian Department of the Russian Academy of Science – the Day of India was held.

From 12 in the afternoon till late in the evening, Sahaja Yogis of Novosibirsk collective were actively working with the visitors. A wide program was organized in the hall.

The sisters had brought a large number of their saris for all who wished to be able to miraculously turn into beautiful Indian women. Notwithstanding the fact that nine sisters tirelessly wrapped young girls and women into the saris behind the screen, the queue to it did not become shorter during several hours.

All who were dressed in saris could use the services of our camera-man and immediately get their unusual photo.

Nearby, several Sahaja Yogis, literally not raising their heads, were making mehendi during several hours as there also were long queues there. Before their hands were painted, the people were suggested to go through a short test for them to find out what hand should be decorated with mehendi. In such a way, many got Self-Realization.

A sale of DVDs/CDs with ragas and bhajans was organized in the hall. As it turned out, people need our music. The Yogis talked about music and gave Self-Realization. The people were given an opportunity to listen to some parts of a raga or a bhagan.

Incense sticks were sold immediately. There were also sold several copies of “Metamodern Era” written by Shri Mataji and “Corruption: India’s Enemy within” by Sir C.P. Srivastava (both the books are translated into Russian and published in Russia).

There was also a fair of Indian clothes.

Sahaja Marriages in the Presence of Shri Mataji

One more great day starts with a deep meditation early in the morning. At the glade in front of the large stage, having sung mantras for the chakras and channels, the adult Sahaja Yogis are meditating. In an hour, there is a meditation for little Yogis.

10:30 am. At the small stage, more couples (about 30) blessed for Sahaja Marriages by Shri Mataji are announced and on the sand “dunes” of the bank of the river Volga Haldi ceremony had already started.

You are coming down along the wooden ladder (made by our brothers with much love) and immediately you are covered with the feeling of joy and unity with Sahaja family! In the center of the beach, there is a Yuva Shakti ensemble performing bhajans and qawwalis from the sounds of which the vibrations are spouting and flying into the height. On the right, sisters are dancing in a ring. On the left, with loud exclamations, brothers are dipping into the cold water of the Kundalini of Russia.

Shri Ganesha Puja

The Goddess presented Her children with one more great day.

Early morning. On the glade between Shri Mataji’s house and the large stage there are meditating Sahaja Yogis from different countries: Russia, Ukraine, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Italy, Iran, Finland, France, Argentina, the USA, etc… Physical exercises and again a deep meditation. At 8:30 there is a meditation for children which is conducted by Yuva Shakti. Since early in the morning Sahaja Yogis are preparing for the meeting with Shri Adi Shakti.

Since 12 o’clock in the afternoon brothers and sisters are gradually gathering at the large stage: Puja can start at any time – depending on Mother’s Will.

15:00 – a little more than 4,5 thousand Sahaja Yogis are meditating to the accompaniment of Indian classic music. When the raga “Kirvani” is being performed, the hot sun disappears behind the clouds and several drops of rain bring freshness and purification.

Russian Yuva Shakti

Jai Shri Mataji!

One of the strongest desires of our Great Mother is that She wants Sahaja Yogis from different countries to unite in one Sahaja family. We strongly believe that an essential step towards the realization of Shri Mataji’s desire will be our mutual exchange of experience thanks to which we will be able to see the potential of each country and use it for the advancement of Sahaja Yoga in the whole world.

The story about the Yuvas of Russia is presented for your consideration below. At the end of it, you can enjoy a video conveying the spirit of Russian Young Energies.

The Activity of Russian Yuvas

In Russian cities, the Yuva Shakti programs are held 1-2 times a week. Collective cleanings, meditations, watching of the talks by Shri Mataji are parts of such meetings. After that, the subject of conducting collective meetings, the meetings for newcomers and spreading Sahaja Yoga is discussed.

Besides, music rehearsals of Yuva Shakti music groups often follow the meditation part.
