When organizing Public Programs in Uzbekistan (the process is still going on), the link to the movie “The Meeting in Tashkent” was found in the Internet by some Russian Yogis.
Historic background:
On January 1966, in the City of Tashkent, the official opening of the meeting of the statesmen of Pakistan and India with the participant of Russian Prime-minister Kosyigin took place. From the Indian part, Prime-minister Lal Bahadur Shastri participated in the negotiations. Mr. Chandrika Srivastava (Sir C.P.) was accompanying him. The negotiations were going on till January 10 and resulted in signing Tashkent Declaration (which meant the termination of war between India and Pakistan). That meeting was described by Sir C.P. in his book “Life of Truth in Politics: Lal Bahadur Shastri”.
The trip of our brothers and sisters to the central movie archive located in the City of Krasnogorsk brought its results – the movie was found and, afterwards, translated into English and recorded on DVD- as a present for Sir C.P/
